Puijo Tower

The vast panorama of an endless mosaic of blue lakes and green islands that can be seen from the Puijo Tower is a spectacle not to missed by anybody visiting Kuopio. The tower, situated about 1.5 kilometres from the city centre, has a revolving panoramic restaurant that serves local specialities. The tower and the hostel at the foot of it are surrounded by a unique primeval forest.

Tower and souvenier shop are open Mon-Thur 11 am - 7 pm, Fri-Sat 11 am - 9 pm, Sun 11 am - 4 pm. 

Tower restaurant is open Mon-Thur 11 am-8 pm, Fri - Sat 11 am - 10 pm, Sun 12 noon - 5 pm. Lunch served at the tower restaurant Mon-Fri 11 am - 3 pm.

Entrance fee: adults €5, pensioners, students, unemployed €3,5, children 4 - 12 yrs. €2,5, family (2 + 2) €12, groups over 10 persons €3,5 / person.

Puijon Maja beside the tower serves lunch Mon-Fri 11 am - 2 pm.
